Climbing Class at
North Bend State Park
Cairo, WV

West Virginia is home to world-class rock climbing and you can give it a try for yourself close to home on the cliffs of North Bend State Park. This 4-hour class is tailored for those who wish to try out rock climbing in a safe and responsible manner. You’ll be under the supervision of professional climbing guides who will show you everything you need to know to climb safely and responsibly.

This class is a great way to experience rock climbing for the first time, while we will teach you what it means to be a rock climber, this course in no way prepares you to do it on your own. Rock climbing is inherently dangerous, but with the proper supervision this will be one of the most enjoyable experiences you’ll ever have.

No previous experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided. All you need to do is show up with a positive attitude and the willingness to try something new.

Some of the things you’ll learn are:

* Climbing Technique & Movement
* Climbing Knots & Rope Handling
