NRMG is actively involved with the New River Alliance of Climbers, the climbers advocacy group for the New River Gorge and surrounding areas. In addition to leading free instructional clinics at the Rendezvous, our guides volunteer regularly for trail maintenance days and help out with the anchor replacement initiative.
Rendezvous 2008
The 6th Annual New River Rendezvous is set for May 16-18, 2008. Mark
your calendars! This event is a benefit for the New River Alliance of
Climbers, a group of concerned climbers who are helping to preserve and
protect climbing access to the New River Gorge and surrounding crags.
