GROUP COURSES

Learn skills in an intimate group setting. These budget conscious courses will fast track your experience and knowledge so you can be a more confident and competent climber.

**Group courses must reach a minimum enrollment of 4 students 30 days in advance in order to run. If we do not reach 4 students, we will cancel the course and provide a full refund. A 50% payment is due at time of booking. If you have any friends or colleagues interested in joining us, please let them know about the course!

LEARN HOW TO
SPORT CLIMB

Learn to lead outdoor sport climbs. This course will teach you the necessary skills to get on the sharp end in a progression of mock leading to getting your license to lead. Learn tactics for getting the rope up, how to take and catch a lead fall, and cleaning the anchor after your send.

Pre-Requisites:

Lead belayer and 12 months of top rope experience.

Able to top rope 5.9 no falls/hangs

Course Length:

1 Day

LEARN HOW TO
TRAD CLIMB

Learn how to climb single-pitch trad climbs in a progression of skills that will prepare you for single-pitch climbing and being a safe and competent partner for a more experienced multi-pitch partner. All necessary equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring any trad gear you may own.

 

Suggested Pre-Requisites: 

Lead belayer, with experience leading sport climbs, able to top rope 5.9 without hangs/falls.

 

Course Length:

2 Days

HOW TO
MULTI-PITCH CLIMB

Ready to step it up and learn how to be a competent and efficient multi-pitch climber? This course covers everything from planning and preparation, rope systems, belaying from above, belay station management, transitions, and rappelling best practices. The learning progression starts with a ground school to teach principles and moves on to the application of those skills on suitable terrain.

Pre-Requisites:

Lead belayer with 12 months of climbing experience​

Able to top rope 5.9 with no hangs/falls

Experience following trad climbs helpful

 

Course Length: 

2 Days

Based on 4 people minimum enrollment.
