Personal Coaching

1, 2 and Recurring Days Available

Do you have a particular route you want to send or want to bum up your redpoint grade? After a discussion of your goals, we will develop a unique program designed just for you to maximize your potential for success. Whether it's learning how to lead your first route or redpointing your first 5.whatever...

Your instructor Rachel Melville will be your personal climbing coach and will put you on the fast track to send-town. No one knows the Red better than this gal, and she's got a photographic memory for beta. If you can't remember the sequence, then she'll not only tell you your beta, but the beta for everyone she's ever seen climb the route. Rachel is excellent at describing climbing movement to the people she works with and is able to do it in a way that is easily understandable.

This means you'll spend less time working out beta for a route and more time redpointing climbs at or near your limit, whether you're climbing 5.5 or 5.13. Rachel will hang the draws, brush the holds, work out the best beta for your strengths and weaknesses, and then coach you as you climb to help you stay on target.

"Climbing with [Rachel] at the Red River Gorge was the best climbing experience of my life. She is the most encouraging guide ever" -Jen B

"Rachel has been coaching me for three years now, and she has not only changed my climbing 100% but she's changed my life. Her fun and safe approach has helped me build confidence on and off the rock, develop technical skills, and she has helped me discover my own strengths and areas to work on. With her help, I have gone from climbing 5.8 to 5.11, have transitioned from the gym to outdoors, have been working on my lead head, and I am having more fun climbing than ever." -Melissa M
