Multi-Pitch Climbing

DESCRIPTION:

Located less than 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip, Red Rocks National Conservation Area hosts some of the best moderate multi-pitch climbing in the United States. It's a cheap place to fly into and a cheap place to stay and the fall/winter/spring climbing season can't be beat. 

 

Spend your days scaling thousands of feet to a summit overlooking the desert basin, get a true summit experience and then go back to town and eat well, catch a show and sleep in a comfy bed. It just doesn't get a whole lot easier than this.

 

There are so many classic routes to sample from 5-easy to 5-hard, there's something for everyone to enjoy, including single pitch sport climbing to moderate multi-pitch climbs.

PRICING:

 

LEVEL I:

This is a day of climbing, whether a series of short routes or a moderately long, four pitch, climb that can be completed in eight hours or less. Routes are chosen based on your ability and goals. Prior climbing experience is required but this is a great introduction to multi-pitch climbing.

 

1:1 $400

1:2 $275

Level II:

Start early, climb high and end late! Routes climbed will be of a more challenging nature, typically over four pitches in length. Your guide will evaluate your experience and suggest routes appropriate to meet your goals. Prior climbing experience or prerequisite classes is required.

 

1:1 $450

1:2 $300

Birdland, Cat in the Hat, Tunnel Vision

 

Level III: 

Grade IV+ and Grade V climbs. Routes on Mt. Wilson, some in Black Velvet Canyon and the Rainbow Wall. Experienced climbers only.

 

1:1 $600
