CONFIRMATION INFO
Upon making a payment for your reservation you will receive an e-mail confirmation which will contain all the information on when and where to meet, as well as what to bring. If you are booking for a group of people, the email will include a link to our Acknowledgment of Risk Form. You should forward this email to the other members of your party so they can sign it.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
All participants must thoroughly read and sign our Acknowledgement of Risk form. If you are bringing a minor child that is not your own, you must arrange for this form to be signed by a parent or legal guardian of the minor child before you arrive.
TRANSPORTATION
We do not provide transportation to/from climbing locations. You will follow your instructor in your own vehicle to the climbing area.
Average drive times range from 15 to 30 minutes on paved roads. Any passenger car can easily travel to the crags in the New River Gorge area. The only exception is for our Teen Rock Camp programs.

RAIN/INCLEMENT WEATHER
The weather at the New River Gorge changes regularly from day to day and hour to hour. It is not uncommon for the forecast to predict a 30% chance of rain or higher.
What this means is that there is a possibility of rain in 30% of the forecasted area. This also means there is a 70% area without any predicted rainfall. Fortunately, Nutall sandstone dries very quickly and there are many protected areas that stay dry even when it is raining/has rained. The presence of any severe weather will prevent any trip from continuing as scheduled.

The forecast is ever-changing and mysterious. We do our best to work with you in and around the weather. We also know how important this investment is to your climbing. Our guides know how to keep you busy and learning even in different weather conditions. And if that is not possible we can always reschedule.
NPS RULES
We are permitted by the National Park Service and must adhere to guide-to-client ratios and group size limitations. These rules were implemented to reduce environmental impacts within the park and for your personal safety. Therefore, we cannot allow spectators to accompany climbing trips. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
