Located just across the street from the NRMG office and on the upper floors of a beautiful historic Main Street building.

CAMPGROUNDS
AMERICAN ALPINE CLUB CAMPGROUND

97 Pudds Rd, Lansing, WV 25862

The AAC bought 40 acres of prime real estate within walking distance of Bridge Buttress and Junkyard Walls.  The campground is a work in progress but currently has a road built and about 30 tent sites with raised platforms to pitch your tent. There is a spigot for water and portable toilets.

The campground is located off Ames Heights Rd, just follow the directions for the Junkyard Wall in your guidebook and you can't miss it on your left just before the parking area for that crag.

No reservations are required, just show up, grab a site and the camp host will be around to collect your camping fee. It's just $5/person/night if you're an AAC member, $6/person/night for Access Fund Members, and $7/person/night for all others.
